Well, hello there!

I'm baaack!

Yep, it's been a while, but I've been around. Reading other blogs, checking out stuff on Flickr and generally hanging out on Facebook.

I made a promise to myself that I would rein in my FB addiction, particularly whilst the kids are home on school holidays. I was going to stay off the computer completely, but I'm doing a painting for the eldest child and needed some kawaii references. She has given me specific ideas for her painting, which when finished, will be quite detailed. It's going to have a sort of dreamy, big eyed girl as the main focus, with lots of little creatures and critters surrounding her. I expect it to take me longer than the school holidays as I'm doing bits here and there when the girls and I aren't off somewhere doing exciting stuff. Also, I can't paint when I have an excited 10 year old looking over my shoulder!
